  • Craig Retired on SS8

Craig started today as he ended yesterday by setting fastest time on the opening stage SS7 37.3secs ahead of John MacCrones & 1min16.7secs ahead of Mikko Pajunens. Craig’s brilliant run sadly came to an end on SS8 when his Fiesta's radiator got damaged and he was forced to retire. Craig will get the opportunity next weekend to put this disappointment behind him when he continues his tarmac testing with the Rallye du Limousin. The rally is based in central France and starts next Friday evening.

The Waterford driver finished the evening with best time of the R2 field on SS6 and overnight he stands 7th overall, 2nd in Formula 1 and leading both the R2 Class and the Fiesta Sport Trophy.
  • Craig reports all well after SS3

After the opening 3 stages, Craig reports he's very happy with his times. He decided to go on the soft tyre, the skies look over cast but no rain. The rerun could be different as the dark clowds are not far away and the second loop will be completed in Darkness
